Duke has touched
my life since before I was born. My mother was pregnant with me when she earned
her Masters at Duke, so I’ve already had the opportunity to attend classes,
specifically one class on Greek and Roman mythology. I think this is why, for as
long as I remember, I have loved learning everything about gods and goddesses.
Since Duke has already affected me in such a huge way, it would be an honor to
attend and absorb all I can from this school. Duke’s wonderful nationally-ranked
academics would provide an excellent challenge for me, and it is exciting to
imagine what I can learn here in the next four years.
